Common questions about collecting Zakat.
How do donors mark a gift as Zakat?
They pick the Zakat fund on the kiosk or giving page. At the kiosk there is also a "This gift is Zakat" checkbox.
Can we track Zakat al-Fitr separately from Zakat al-Mal?
Yes. Set each up as its own fund. Both appear on the kiosk and the giving page, and each keeps its own total.
Can the Zakat committee get its own report?
Yes. Filter the donations view to the Zakat fund and a date range, then export a CSV.
Do Zakat donors get a receipt?
Donors who give an email address get a receipt for their gift, at the kiosk or online.
Can donors pay Zakat monthly?
Yes. Any kiosk or online gift can be made monthly, and donors can manage or cancel from their receipt.
