Matching Gift Program Details

Magellan Health matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K-12 included)
• Health and human services
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• Environmental organizations
• And most 501 (c)(3) organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations aligned with Magellan Cares Foundation mission; religious organizations, school-based sports teams, animal organizations, lobbying organizations, and fraternal/social organizations are not eligible per source.

Faith-based eligibility: Excluded.

Magellan Health Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Magellan Health's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit the request before the employer's current deadline.
