Matching Gift Program Details

GreenShield matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K-12 included)
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• Environmental organizations
• Health and human service organizations
• And many other 501(c)(3)organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: Wide range of nonprofits including education, arts and culture, civic/community, environmental, health and human services, and many other 501(c)(3) organizations; official GreenShield page says employees support local charities.

Faith-based eligibility: Not disclosed.

GreenShield Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open GreenShield's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit the request before the employer's current deadline.
