The following employee types may be eligible for matching.

Matching Gift Program Details

Grainger matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K-12 included)
• Health and human services
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• Environmental organizations
• And most other 501(c)(3) organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: US 501(c)(3) or equivalent public charities in eligible categories; public Grainger form excludes gifts to houses of worship and organizations propagating a religious belief or evangelistic effort.

Faith-based eligibility: Excluded.

Grainger Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Grainger's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit while the gift is still eligible: within one year of gift date.
