Google matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Most nonprofits; religious organizations and places of worship are not eligible unless the gift is designated to an ongoing secular community service program open to all persons and not propagating any specific faith per public Google guideline
• Religious Activity Excluded
• Faith-based eligibility: Conditional
• Volunteer grant program is also listed

Google Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Google's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit by January 31 after the donation year.
