Matching Gift Program Details

Emerson matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K-12 included)
• Health and human services
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• Environmental organizations
• And most 501 (c)(3) organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: Eligible organizations include U.S.-located 501(c)(3) nonprofit/accredited institutions and related eligible foundations/associations. Religious organizations, houses of worship, and organizations primarily promoting religious purposes are generally ineligible; other faith-based community-service organizations or schools may be considered when open to all, secular in purpose, do not require prayer/worship/religious participation, and do not use the donation or match for religious purposes.

Faith-based eligibility: Conditional.

Emerson Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Emerson's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit by September 30.
