Matching Gift Program Details

Cupertino Electric matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K-12 included)
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Environmental organizations
• Health and human service organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• And many other 501(c)(3) organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: Current DTD page lists broad nonprofit categories; DTD-hosted Cupertino Electric policy requires 501(c)(3) public charity status and a nonreligious primary purpose, and says religious-organization gifts may qualify only for ongoing secular community-service programs open to all and not propagating a specific faith.

Faith-based eligibility: Conditional.

Cupertino Electric Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Cupertino Electric's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit by forms must be received within six months of the date the donor made the gift.
