Matching Gift Program Details

Capital Group Cos. matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• Educational institutions (K–12 included)
• Health and human services
• Arts and cultural organizations
• Civic and community organizations
• Environmental organizations
• And many other 501(c)(3) organizations

Nonprofit eligibility: Most nonprofits including K-12 education, health and human services, arts/culture, civic/community, environmental, and many other 501(c)(3) organizations. DTD-hosted Capital Group form says religious organizations are ineligible except nonsectarian programs such as schools, community outreach, homeless shelters, or food banks that they administer.

Faith-based eligibility: Conditional.

Capital Group Cos. Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Capital Group Cos.'s matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit while the gift is still eligible: within 12 months of donation date; June 1 fiscal-year processing cutoff.
