• Higher education institutions only, including junior/community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, professional and graduate schools, and select other higher education institutions; seminaries and theological schools do not qualify

• Faith-based eligibility: Conditional

American Electric Power System Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open American Electric Power System's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit the request before the employer's current deadline.
