Matching Gift Program Details

Alliant Energy matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• 501(c)(3) organizations located in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Minnesota may qualify; colleges and universities outside those states may qualify when the employee or retiree graduated from the institution; certain governmental libraries, museums, zoos, and similar entities may also qualify
• Faith Based Conditional
• Faith-based eligibility: Conditional
• Volunteer grant program is also listed

Nonprofit eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations located in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Minnesota may qualify; colleges and universities outside those states may qualify when the employee or retiree graduated from the institution; certain governmental libraries, museums, zoos, and similar entities may also qualify.

Faith-based eligibility: Conditional.

Alliant Energy Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open Alliant Energy's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit while the gift is still eligible: within 90 days of the original gift date.
