3M matches employee donations under the guidelines below:

• U.S. 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, and public-serving independent non-religious affiliated programs of houses of worship/churches; houses of worship/churches are otherwise excluded
• Faith Based Conditional
• Faith-based eligibility: Conditional
• Volunteer grant program is also listed

Nonprofit eligibility: U.S. 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, and public-serving independent non-religious affiliated programs of houses of worship/churches; houses of worship/churches are otherwise excluded.

Faith-based eligibility: Conditional.

3M Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open 3M's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit by same calendar year as the donor gift.
